Abstract

SILVA, Claudinei Aparecido de Freitas da. The praise of the poetic in Renaud Barbaras. Rev. abordagem gestalt. [online]. 2019, vol.25, n.2, pp. 209-217. ISSN 1809-6867.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18065/RAG.2019v25n2.11.

The article proposes to a phenomenological balance about the poetic statute as established by Renaud Barbaras. Taking Merleau-Ponty's works as the front line, Barbaras, however, seeks to overcome it by glimpsing another possible horizon beyond the usual division between philosophy and literature. The overcoming of this limit seems to find in Fernando Pessoa's poetic work a living example of interlocution. What is discovered in this work, as a backdrop, is an alliance between poetry and metaphysics so that literary praxis, as "non-philosophy", holds, for the truth, a "clandestine life" as an experience of thought. The article concludes with other possible clipping that gives rise to this same perspective of analysis, as found, for example, in the literary creation of Clarice Lispector or, still, in the poetic-philosophical essayism by Bento Prado Jr.

Keywords : Renaud Barbaras; Poetic; Merleau-Ponty; Fernando Pessoa; Clarice Lispector.
