RABATE, Jean-Michel. Psychoanalysis and literature: why, today?.Traducido porVanisa Santos. Trivium [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.2, pp. 162-171. ISSN 2176-4891.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18379/2176-4891.2017v2p.162.

Freud always highlighted the preeminence of creative writers, emphasizing that the artist, unknowingly, teaches us about the unconscious. In 1926, in the article The Question of Lay Analysis, Freud situate literature, like other fields, as an essential component for the formation of a competent analyst. However, this knowledge could only be perceived with the psychoanalytic interpretations, which gave meaning to the writers' intuitions and made possible a transmission. In his lecture, Jean-Michel Rabaté traverses the different forms of relations between psychoanalysis and literature, approaching and problematizing the limits and possibilities of this privileged field of dialogue.
