As the official organization for promotion of the São Paulo Academy of Psychology (CNPJ 43.195.189/0001-28), it’s objective is to preserve the history of psychology in Brazil, especially in the State of São Paulo. The relevance of this organization for the psychological knowledge is reflected by meritorious contributions related to the legacy of pioneers and the record of the memories of today’s personalities of the current field of knowledge; with the improvement of methodological and instrumental evaluation – intervention; installation and development of institutions in favor of community services, research and / or teaching. Research on different areas of psychology are also included, as well as the evolutionary process of journals and other media for highlighting the psychological science; theoretical approaches and case studies; reviews and information on conferences and other scientific events related to the science in question.
